Description
Used for colorimetric determination of sulfonamide in bloodN-(1-Naphthyl)ethylenediamine dihydrochloride acts as a coupling agent for the spectrophotometric determination of aromatic amines, aminophenols, phenylenediamines, dinitroanilines, chloroanilines, thiols and sulfonamides. It is also used in the quantitative analysis of nitrate and nitrite in water samples by colorimetry. It is involved in the preparation of (N-1-naphthyl-ethylenediamine)-dichloroplatinum(II) by reacting with potassium tetrachloroplatinate.

Zur kolorimetrischen Bestimmung von Sulfonamid in Blutkörperchen-(1-naphthyl)ethylendiamin-Dihydrochlorid und dient als Kopplungsmittel für die spektrophotometrische Bestimmung von aromatischen Aminen, Aminophenolen, Phenylendiamin, Dinitroanilinen, CHLOROANILINEN, Thiolen und Sulfonamiden. Es wird auch in der quantitativen Analyse von Nitrat und Nitrit in Wasserproben mittels Farbmetrik eingesetzt. Es ist an der Herstellung von (N-1-Naphthyl-ethylendiamin)-Dichlorplatin(II) durch Reaktion mit Kaliumtetrachlorplatinat beteiligt.
Löslichkeit
Löslich in Wasser oder 95 % Ethanol. Löslich in heißem Wasser, Alkohol, verdünnter Salzsäure und Aceton.
Hinweise
Hygroskopisch. Lichtempfindlich. Unverträglich mit Säuren, Säurechloriden, Säureanhydriden, Halogensäuren und Oxidationsmitteln.
