General Description
• Naloxone hydrochloride the hydrochloride salt of the anti-opioid naloxone
• Naloxone reverses characteristic opioid effects including euphoria, bradycardia, sedation, and respiratory depression
Application
• Naloxone is a fast-acting inverse agonist of the mu-opioid receptor that can be used to competitively inhibit the binding of opioid compounds
• Naloxone is appropriate for use in in vivo and in vitro studies of opioid receptor signaling
