Zur schnellen und einfachen Bestimmung des Säuregrads oder der Alkalinität. Macherey Nagel™ pH-Lackmuspapier in Rot ändert seine Farbe von rot zu blau, wenn der Säuregrad abnimmt und die Alkalinität zunimmt.

Empfohlene Anwendung:

  • Allgemeine Prüfmethode für saure oder alkalische Reaktionen
  • Dient bei Neutralisationsreaktionen zur Überprüfung, ob der Wechsel von sauer auf alkalisch oder umgekehrt stattgefunden hat
  • Lackmus-Papier ist das bekannteste Indikatorpapier

Chemie:

  • Litmus ist ein natürliches Produkt, das eine Mischung von Substanzen enthält
  • Es wird aus Flechten extrahiert und stellt wahrscheinlich den ältesten bekannten Indikatorfarbstoff dar
