Phenol red is used as a non absorbed marker in gravimetric method. It is a pH indicator used in cell biology laboratories and in home swimming pool test kits. It is used to check the kidney function based on the excreted phenol red by colorimetric method.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. Anwendungen
Phenolrot wird als nicht absorbierter Marker in gravimetrischen Verfahren verwendet. Es ist ein pH-Indikator, der in zellbiologischen Laboren und in Prüfsätzen für Heimschwimmbäder verwendet wird. Es wird verwendet, um die Nierenfunktion anhand des ausgeschiedenen Phenolrots mittels kolorimetrischer Methoden zu überprüfen.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Wasser, Ethanol und Methanol. Nicht in Chloroform löslich.

Hinweise
Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln.
