Phenylarsine oxide is used as a poultry coccidiostat in veterinary medicine. It is also used in a membrane-permeable protein tyrosine phosphatase inhibitor.

Anwendungen
Phenylarsinoxid wird als Geflügelkokzidiostatikum in der Veterinärmedizin verwendet. Kommt auch in einem membrandurchlässigen Protein-Tyrosin-Phosphatase-Inhibitor zum Einsatz.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Dimethylsulfoxid, Chloroform, Benzol, Ether, Ethanol, 50:50 Dimethylsulfoxid:1 Mol Salzsäure (3.0 mg/ml) und Toluol. Nicht in Wasser löslich.

Hinweise
Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln.
