Active form of Vitamin B-6Pyridoxal-5’-phosphate monohydrate is used to modify the lysyl and valyl residues in proteins. It acts as a coenzyme in transamination reactions and as an inhibitor for purinergic receptors and intracellular. It is involved in decarboxylation and deamination reactions viz. the conversion of dopa into dopamine of glutamate into GABA and histidine to histamine.

Anwendungen
Die aktive Form von Vitamin B-6Pyridoxal-5'-Phosphat-Monohydrat wird zur Modifikation der Lysyl- und Valylrückstände in Proteinen verwendet. Es fungiert als Coenzym in Transaminierungsreaktionen und als Inhibitor für purinerge Rezeptoren und intrazelluläre. Es ist an Decarboxylierungs- und Deaminierungsreaktionen beteiligt, und zwar bei der Umwandlung von Dopa zu Dopamin, von Glutamat zu GABA und von Histidin zu Histamin.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in alkalischen Lösungen. Kaum lösliches in Wasser.

Hinweise
Lichtempfindlich. Kühl lagern. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten. Nicht kompatibel mit starken Säuren.
