(R)-(-)-Mandelic acid, is used as a antiseptic ingredient particularly against urinary tract infections.Mandelic acid and its derivatives are used to apply the dual activities as an antibacterial agent and as an antiaging agent. It is used as an intermediate for the synthesis of target molecules for other applications.

Anwendungen
(R)-(-)-Mandelsäure, wird als antiseptischer Bestandteil insbesondere gegen Harnwegsinfektionen verwendet.Mandelsäure und ihre Derivate werden zur Anwendung der dualen Aktivitäten als antibakterielles und Anti-Aging-Mittel verwendet. Wird als Zwischenprodukt für die Synthese von Zielmolekülen für andere Anwendungen verwendet.

Löslichkeit
Ist teilweise wasserlöslich, frei löslich in Isopropyl und Ethylalkohol.

Hinweise
Kühl lagern. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten. Lichtempfindlich. Stabil unter normalen Bedingungen. Nicht kompatibel mit starken Basen, starken Oxidationsmitteln.
