Die Silikondichtung passend zum Schraubverbindungsstück weist ein gutes Abdichtungsverhalten auf. Aufgrund der PTFE Schicht auf einer Seite der Dichtung ist eine gewisse Inertheit des Materials gegeben. Die enthaltene Lochbohrung ermölicht ein Einbringen von Glasstäben, Oliven, Schläuchen u.ä.
