Sorbitan monolaurate is a detergent and monoester of lauric acid and hexitol anhydrides derived from sorbitol. It is used in a study to assess enhanced solubility and oral bioavailability of itraconazole. It is also used in a study to investigate the oxidation of unsaturated lipids in oil-in-water emulsions.

Anwendungen
Sorbitan-Monolaurat ist ein Reinigungsmittel und ein Monoester aus Laurinsäure und Hexitolanhydriden, die aus Sorbit gewonnen werden. Es wird in einer Studie zur Beurteilung der erhöhten Löslichkeit und der oralen Bioverfügbarkeit von Itraconazol verwendet. Löslich in 2-Ethoxyethanol, Ethanol und Methanol. Nicht mischbar oder schwer in Wasser mischbar.

Hinweise
Kühl lagern. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten. Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln.
