Streptavidin is used as a tetrameric protein used to visualize biotin conjugated molecules in ELISA. Due to the strong affinity of biotin and biotinylated molecules has made streptavidin one of the most important components in diagnostics and laboratory kits. Streptavidin is widely used in molecular biology through its unique high affinity for the biotin.

Anwendungen
Streptavidin wird als tetramerisches Protein verwendet, das zur Visualisierung von Biotin-konjugierten Molekülen im ELISA verwendet wird. Aufgrund der starken Affinität von Biotin und biotinylierten Molekülen ist Streptavidin zu einem der wichtigsten Komponenten in Diagnostik- und Laborkits geworden. Löslichkeit
Ergibt eine klare Lösung bei 5 mg/ml in 0.1 M NaCl. Ist in Wasser bei 1 mg/ml oder in phosphatgepufferter Kochsalzlösung (PBS) löslich.

Rekonstitution bei 1 mg/ml in Wasser oder PBS
