Description
Applied Biosystems TaqMan Gene Expression Assays, VIC primer-limited, are used for quantitative real-time PCR analysis of gene expression and consist of a pair of unlabeled PCR primers and a TaqMan probe with a dye label (VIC) on the 5' end and a minor groove binder (MGB) and nonfluorescent quencher (NFQ) on the 3' end. These assays are primer-limited and ideal for multiplex reactions looking at two different gene targets in the same qPCR well. Note that for digital PCR, primer-limiting is typically not recommended. The full-concentration TaqMan assay (Cat. No. 4448491) is suggested if you are using dPCR.
