1-Bromo-2-nitrobenzene is used in organic synthesis. It also can react with 2-methylamino-benzoic acid to get N-methyl-N-(2-nitro-phenyl)-anthranilic acid. And it is also used in the preparation of 4-methoxy-2?-nitrodiphenyl ether, 1-methoxy-3,5-bis-(2-nitro-phenoxy)benzene.

Anwendungen
1-Brom-2-nitrobenzol wird bei der organischen Synthese verwendet. Es kann auch mit 2-Methylamino-benzoesäure reagieren, um N-Methyl-N-(2-nitrophenyl)-anthranilsäure zu ergeben. Außerdem wird es bei der Herstellung von 4-Methoxy-2′-nitrodiphenylether, 1-Methoxy-3,5-bis-(2-nitrophenoxy)benzol verwendet.
