Description

CAS: 591-27-5 | C6H7NO | 109.13 g/mol

A chemical used in the preparation of inhibitors of mammalian carbonic anhydrase isoforms. It is also used in the preparation of quinoline tethered fluorescent carbon dots for regulated anticancer discovery. It is employed in the production of TB drugs, salicylic acid, amino stabilizer and developers. 3-Aminophenol has been used as a stabilizer of chlorine-containing thermoplastics, although its principal use is as an intermediate in the production of 4-amino-2-hydroxybenzoic acid this isomer is also employed as a hair colorant and as a coupler molecule in hair dyes.

Anwendungen
Eine Chemikalie, die bei der Herstellung von Inhibitoren von Säugetier-Kohlenstoffanhydrase-Isoformen verwendet wird. Es wird auch bei der Herstellung von fluoreszierenden Chinolin-Tethered Kohlenstoff-Dots für die regulierte Entdeckung krebsbekämpfender Stoffe. Es wird in der Produktion von TB-Medikamenten, Salicylsäure, Aminostabilisator und Entwicklern eingesetzt. 3-Aminophenol wurde als Stabilisator von chlorhaltigen Thermoplasten verwendet, obwohl sein Hauptverwendungszweck als Zwischenprodukt in der Herstellung von 4-Amino-2-Hydroxybenzoesäure liegt, gilt dieses Isomer auch als Haarfarbstoff und als Kopplermolekül in Haarfärbungen.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Wasser (35 mg/ml bei 20 °C), Äther, Alkohol, Amylalkohol und Benzol (leicht).

Hinweise
Von Oxidationsmitteln entfernt aufbewahren Den Behälter dicht verschlossen halten. Kühl und trocken an einem gut belüfteten Ort lagern.
