Beschreibung

4-Aminoantipyrine shows both analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. It is used as a reagent for glucose determination in the presence of peroxidase and phenol. It is used as a drug dipyrone.

Anwendungen
4-Aminoantipyrin zeigt sowohl analgetische als auch entzündungshemmende Eigenschaften. Wird als Reagenz für die Glukosebestimmung in Gegenwart von Peroxidase und Phenol verwendet. Wird als Arzneimittel „Metamizol-Natrium“, kurz „Metamizol“, verwendet.

Löslichkeit
Wasserlöslich. 500 g/l (20 °C), Methanol. Teilweise löslich in Diethylether.

Hinweise
Nicht verträglich mit starken Oxidationsmitteln, starken Säuren, Säurechloriden, Säureanhydriden.
