4-Benzyloxyphenol is used in the synthesis of bis(4-benzyloxyphenoxy)phenyl phosphine oxide. It plays an essential role in the preparation of hetaryl-azophenol dyes via heterocyclic amines in nitrosyl sulphuric acid. It is also used for polyester fiber dyeing and in rubber industry. It acts as a depigmenting agent.

Anwendungen
4-Benzyloxyphenol wird bei der Synthese von Bis(4-benzyloxyphenoxy)phenylphosphinoxid verwendet. Es spielt eine wesentliche Rolle bei der Herstellung von Hetaryl-Azophenol-Farbstoffen über heterozyklische Amine in Nitrosyl-Schwefelsäure. Es wird auch bei der Polyester-Faserfärbung und in der Gummiindustrie verwendet. Es fungiert als depigmentierendes Mittel.

Löslichkeit
Schwach wasserlöslich. Löslich in Alkohol, Aceton, Benzol und Diethylether.

Hinweise
Den Behälter dicht verschlossen an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort aufbewahren. Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln und starken Basen.
