4-Bromoaniline is used as a precursor in the production of azo dyes and dihydroquinazolines. It is also used as carbon and nitrogen supplement in the culture medium of Moraxella sp. strain G. Further, it is employed in the preparation of para-bromobiphenyl through Gomberg-Bachmann reaction. In addition to this, it is used as a building block in the preparation or pharmaceutical and organic compounds.

Anwendungen
4-Bromanilin wird als Vorstufe bei der Herstellung von Azofarbstoffen und Dihydroquinazolinen verwendet. Es wird auch als Kohlenstoff- und Stickstoffergänzung im Kulturmedium von Moraxella sp. Stamm G.verwendet. Weiterhin wird es bei der Vorbereitung von para-Brombiphenyl durch Gomberg-Bachmann-Reaktion eingesetzt. Darüber hinaus wird es als Baustein in der Zubereitung oder in pharmazeutischen und organischen Verbindungen verwendet.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Alkohol und Äther. Unlöslich in kaltem Wasser.

Hinweise
Kühl lagern. Lichtempfindlich und luftempfindlich. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten. Inkompatibel mit starken Säuren, sauren Chloriden, sauren Anhydriden, Chloroformatten und starken Oxidationsmitteln.
