4-Hydroxybenzeneboronic acid is used for Suzuki-Miyaura coupling and Stille coupling and potential for introducing different alkyl groups, palladium-catalyzed aminocarbonylation and cross-coupling reactions, bio-supported palladium nanoparticles as phosphine-free catalyst for Suzuki reaction in water and Cu2O-catalyzed aerobic oxidative cross-coupling of tetrazoles. It is also used in preparation of rod-like dendronized polymers.

Anwendungen
4-Hydroxybenzolboronsäure wird für die Suzuki-Miyaura-Kupplung und die Stille-Kupplung sowie potenziell für die Einführung verschiedener Alkylgruppen, Palladium-katalysierter Aminocarbonylierung und Querverbindungsreaktionen, bio-unterstützter Palladium-Nanopartikel als phosphinfreier Katalysator für die Suzuki-Reaktion in Wasser sowie Cu2O-katalysierte aerobe oxidative Querverbindung von Tetrazolen verwendet. Es wird auch zur Herstellung von stabähnlichen dendronisierten Polymeren verwendet.
