Anwendungen
Anthracen wird bei der Herstellung des roten Farbstoffs Alizarin und anderer Farbstoffe verwendet.

Löslich in Alkohol, Methanol (1.8 g/100 g), Hexan (0.37 g/100 g). Unlöslich in Wasser.

Hinweise
Kühl und trocken in gut verschlossenen Behältern lagern. Behälter dicht verschlossen halten. Von starken Oxidationsmitteln fernhalten.
