The protein encoded by this gene is a cytoplasmic enzyme involved in energy homeostasis and is an important serum marker for myocardial infarction. The encoded protein reversibly catalyzes the transfer of phosphate between ATP and various phosphogens such as creatine phosphate. It acts as a homodimer in striated muscle as well as in other tissues, and as a heterodimer with a similar brain isozyme in heart. The encoded protein is a member of the ATP:guanido phosphotransferase protein family. Kit includes 100ug of lyophilized recombinant Human CK-MB protein and 3 bottles of diluting buffer (1 mL each). Detailed protocol is included with CofA, all reagents are included. The protocol describes the rCK-MB hydration process and dilution steps required for the determination of rCK-MB value in a test CK-MB immunoassay. The results should be used to assign CK-MB values of the calibrators for the test immunoassay. Quality Specifications: Purity is greater than or equal to 95% by SDS PAGE. Specific activity is greater than 950 U/mg by Genzyme Manual Spectrophotometer. Storage: Diluent should be stored at 4°C. Lyophilized protein should be stored at 4°C short-term, and long-term at -20°C. Reconstitution: reconstitute 100ug of Recombinant Human CK-MB, Calibrator Grade with 1 mL of CK-MB Diluent. Mix gently, and allow to stand for at least 15 minutes prior to use. After using, replace stopper and store at 2-8°C to achieve at least3 weeks of reconstituted stability.Spezifikation
