Beschreibung

Fumaric acid is used as a food additive and acid regulator. It is used in the production of polyester resins and polyhydric alcohols. It is also used as a mordant for dyes, paint additives, coating additives, plasticizers, processing aids and specific to petroleum production. Further, it is used in dentifrices as a stain remover and to make other chemicals. In addition to this, it is used in rosin esters, drying oils, printing inks and flavoring agent.

Anwendungen
Fumarsäure wird als Lebensmittelzusatzstoff und Säureregulator verwendet. Es wird bei der Herstellung von Polyesterharzen und polyhydrischen Alkoholen verwendet. Es wird auch als Bindemittel für Farbstoffe, Farbzusätze, Beschichtungszusätze, Plastifizierer sowie Verarbeitungshilfsmittel und insbesondere in der Erdölproduktion verwendet. Außerdem wird es in Zahnpflegemitteln als Fleckentferner und zur Herstellung anderer Chemikalien verwendet. Darüber hinaus wird es in Kolophoniumestern, Trockenölen, Druckfarben und Aromastoffen verwendet.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Wasser, Ethanol und konzentrierter Schwefelsäure. Schwer löslich in Ethylether und Aceton. Unlöslich in Chloroform, Olivenöl, Tetrachlorkohlenstoff, Xylol, geschmolzenem Campher, flüssigem Ammoniak und Benzol.

Hinweise
Nicht kompatibel mit Oxidationsmitteln, Aminen und starken Basen.
