Keratinocyte SFM (serum-free medium) is optimized for the growth and maintenance of human keratinocytes and other types of epithelial cells without the need for a feeder layer of cells. The complete medium may be used to cultivate human epidermal keratinocytes for studies involving dermal substitutes, in vitro toxicology, and gene therapy.

Keratinozyten-SFM wird mit vorab geprüftem, rekombinantem humanem epidermalem Wachstumsfaktor 1-53 (EGF 1-53) und Rinderhypophysenextrakt (BPE) in separaten Packungen geliefert. Die Komponenten sind nicht separat erhältlich.
