L-Cystein-Hydrochlorid , CAS-Nr. 7048-04-6, auch L-Cystein-Hydrochlorid-Monohydrat genannt, ist ein lösliches Salz der nichtessentiellen Aminosäure L-Cystein.Es wird häufig als Nukleophil in mehreren chemischen Reaktionen verwendet.

L-Cysteine hydrochloride, anhydrous is widely used as additive in food production. It is used as an antioxidant to promote fermentation and keep the flavor. It is also used in cosmetics and animal feed.
