Beschreibung

p-Tolyl isothiocyanate has been used in the preparation of 6-[1-amino-3-(p-tolyl)-thiourea]-2-ethylbenzo[de]isoquinoline-1,3-dione. It is used as capping agent to cap the N-terminal ends of polypeptide. It is also used as pharmaceutical intermediate.

Anwendungen
P-Tolylisothiocyanat wurde bei der Herstellung von 6-[1 -amino-3-(p-tolyl)-thiohara]-2-ethylbenzo[de]isochinolin-1,3-dion verwendet. Wird als Verschlussmittel verwendet, um die N-terminalen Enden des Polypeptids zu verschließen. Es wird auch als pharmazeutisches Zwischenprodukt verwendet.

Löslichkeit
Zersetzt sich in Wasser.

Feuchtigkeitsempfindlich. Vor Feuchtigkeit und Wasser schützen. Unter trockenem Inertgas fern von Oxidationsmitteln und Feuchtigkeit lagern.
