Anwendungen
Thymolphthalein dient als pH-Indikator, als Reagenz für Blut nach Entfärbung der alkalischen Lösung durch Kochen mit Zinkstaub.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Alkohol, Aceton und auch in verdünnten Alkalien. Unlöslich in Wasser.

Hinweise
Kühl und trocken in einem gut versiegelten Behälter lagern. Bei Raumtemperatur lagern. Nicht kompatibel mit Oxidationsmitteln.
